HIV Antibody Test (90 Day HIV Test)

This is the traditional HIV antibody test which GUM clinics offer. An antibody is the immune system's response to disease. If you have been infected with HIV, your body will produce antibodies which are typically detectable through HIV testing after 3 months.

A small blood sample will be taken. Some of our clinics offer instant HIV testing which provide results in 1 minute. However, most instant tests are only reliable for a 90 day window period. If you are worried about an incident which is more recent than 90 days (3 months), you should consider the 28 Day HIV test. The 90 Day HIV antibody test costs £120 and is considered 99.9% accurate.
