Why the Hiv Test and STD Screening is important
If you are sexually active, worried about HIV or other STDs and want peace of mind, we strongly recommend you get a complete STD screen or an HIV test. These STD screens include tests for many sexually transmitted diseases and results are available quickly. In most cases, a Basic STD screen is sufficient but if there are visible lesions or warts on your genitals, mouth or anus, you should consider tests for Herpes and Genital Warts. All our locations around the UK offer HIV testing and STD Screens.
There are three basic kinds of HIV tests depending on when you may have been exposed. There is a 90 day HIV test (if you have been exposed more than 90 days before your HIV test), a 28 day HIV test (for exposure 28 days before your HIV test) and a 10 day HIV test (for exposure 10 days before your HIV test). If you want an HIV test, please refer to the table above.
If you need an HIV test certificate for a business visa or tourist visa, our clinics can provide you with one. For example, some Russian visas require you receive an HIV test certificate before being allowed entry into the country. In most cases, we can provide you with an HIV test certificate sameday and nearby.
