Better2Know is the UK\u2019s largest private provider of sexual health testing services.<\/p>\n

Established in 2008, it grew quickly and by 2012 was providing thousands of tests a year for STDs and STIs throughout the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.<\/p>\n

All of Better2Knows STD testing services are confidential, anonymous and provide fast results.<\/p>\n

Better2Know\u2019s provides quick access to private doctor\u2019s consultations with the fastest results possible, all test results are back within five days of the sample being received by the lab, and many are possible within one to two days.<\/p>\n

Better2Know can provide an HIV result from just 10 days post potential exposure which is one of the fastest tests available, and not available everywhere. In addition, Better2Know tests for more STDs than may be available elsewhere.There are many more STDs than many people can name.<\/p>\n

Better2Know does not need to know peoples real names, it uses a unique PIN code system to link the client to the tests booked. A name is usually advised as part of the booking so that there is a name that can be used by the doctor, but it does not have to be a real name. Better2Know will not ask for your doctors name, and they will not share your results with anyone.Your results are confidential between you and the clinician.<\/p>\n

Better2Know is growing its partner clinic network.It aims to have over 100 partner clinics by the end of 2012.<\/p>\n

In addition to providing doctor’s consultations, Better2Know also runs a home sample collection service in the UK<\/a> and Ireland<\/a>: a urine collection pot is sent in the post in plain packaging. Results are provided by a secure on line log on.<\/p>\n

Better2Know provides a diagnostic service, it is the client\u2019s choice about which tests they think they should have, and this gives them control over their healthcare in a way that is appreciated. Doctors can advise additional test and the client can choose whether or not to accept their recommendation. Should someone test positive it is then their choice about where to go for treatment. They can either continue to see the Better2Know doctor, or they can go to their own GP with their results. Most STDs are treated with a simple course of antibiotics.<\/p>\n

Better2Know is proud to work with the Terrence Higgins Trust to help provide testing and referral services for people worried about HIV or newly diagnosed with the virus. This partnership ensures that there is a built in support network for anyone who needs to access it at no further cost.<\/p>\n
