{"id":2127,"date":"2013-04-10T17:16:02","date_gmt":"2013-04-10T17:16:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.better2know.co.uk\/?p=2127"},"modified":"2024-02-23T09:50:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-23T09:50:00","slug":"a-look-at-hiv-symptoms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.better2know.co.uk\/blog\/a-look-at-hiv-symptoms\/","title":{"rendered":"A Look at HIV Signs and Symptoms"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>There are some symptoms associated with being HIV positive, but it must be noted that these symptoms do not mean that you are HIV positive, they are also very commonly found with other illnesses including cold\/ flu and tummy upset\/ food poisoning.\u00a0 Even if you have more than one symptom please do not panic, it does not mean you are HIV positive.\u00a0 It is a good idea to get tested alongside treating the symptoms if you have engaged in risky activity such as unprotected sex.<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Most people (around 80%) who contract HIV will have a short flu-like illness between 2 and 6 weeks and then may not have any other symptoms for years.
