emergence of the super bug (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/programmes\/b0819yg8\">click here for the podcast<\/a>) which we have been discussing for years. &nbsp;There are marked differences across the UK where people are diagnosed with gonorrhoea. &nbsp;The average number of diagnosed cases of gonorrhoea across England is 70.7 per 100,000 people. &nbsp;In London, this increases to three times women and reduced fertility in men. &nbsp;It has also been linked to Prostate cancer. &nbsp;Gonorrhoea should be treated as early as possible. &nbsp;It is really important if you have gonorrhoea to have a test of cure. &nbsp;This is because there are many different strains of gonorrhoea. &nbsp;A combination (two antibiotics at the same time) of drugs is effective in the majority of cases. &nbsp;However there are more options available if this does not work. &nbsp;So please do not think that your gonorrhoea is resistant to all antibiotics if the first treatment does not work. &nbsp;It
