The Better2Know Instant Herpes Simplex 1 Test will give results in around 20 minutes for the Herpes Simplex 1 IgG and IgM Antigens. A trained professional must run the test. The test cassettes have three lines: two Test lines which if present indicates a positive result for each of IgG and IgM antibodies, and a Control line which shows the test has run successfully.

The kit contains everything you need to run 10 Instant HSV1 tests, apart from a timing device.

How does the test work?

The tests can be performed on whole blood, serum, or plasma. The sample can be collected by a venous blood sample or a finger stick. The samples should be taken following the instructions carefully.
