How does the FAST Four screen work?
The FAST Four Home Screen will detect the same array of infections as the STI Four Screen, but with a much faster turnaround time to get your results. Order your FAST Four Home Test through our website and we will post a discreetly packaged testing kit, first class, to an address of your preference. Inside your kit will be a pathology form, a urine collection pot, three finger prick lancets, a small, gold topped tube for blood sample collection, wipes, and a free return envelope. We will also email you a detailed instruction leaflet. It is important that you follow the instructions carefully when taking your samples. Then, when you have finished, put the samples into the prepaid envelope and send them directly to our CPA accredited laboratory for swift and efficient analysis.
How accurate is this screen?
As with all our Home Tests and Screens, the pathology and analysis is performed in Better2Know’s fully accredited, UK laboratory. Furthermore, the FAST Four Screen is suitable for patients that have achieved a minimum incubation of 28 days. Hence, the test is most accurate at least four weeks after an incident of concern.
Is my FAST Screen confidential?
Yes, 100% confidential. The personal details you provide to us will remain highly classified, as will your test results. You will not need to use your real name to be tested and we will not discuss any results with your GP, or any other third parties, without prior consent.
When will my test kit arrive?
If you order your FAST Four Screen before 4pm, Monday to Friday, we will send it to you on the same day via first class mail. Your discreet pack should arrive within one to two working days.
How will I receive my results?
Your test results will be ready within 24 hours of your sample’s arrival at our central, fully certified laboratory. As soon as all your results become available, Better2Know will contact you via your preference of phone call, SMS or email. You can also access these results at any time by logging into the secure patient area of our website.
What if I test positive?
If your FAST Four Screen shows a positive result, we will conduct confirmatory testing at no additional charge. Better2Know can arrange telephone or face-to-face doctor’s consultations (though this will incur a fee), as well as referring you to a specialist service, if required.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: When will you send my kit to me?
If your order is placed before 4pm on a working day, then it will be sent the same day. Otherwise it will be sent on the next working day.
Q: Why do you need my email address?
Your Patient Services Manager, Louise Wright, will email you your login details to access your results, a confirmation your kit has been dispatched and finally when all your results are ready. We do not sell on or email you any other marketing materials, that is why we do not ask you to opt in or out of anything.
Q: Do I need to use my real name?
No, but the postman does need to know where to deliver the kit to. As long as you use a name that will get the kit to you, then we do not need your real name.
Q: What if I do not want to pay by card?
Our payment reference on your card will show up as "health screen" so it will not link your purchase to Better2Know. If you do not want to pay by card then we can also accept cash. Please call our Patient Services Team to arrange payment.
Q: What does the kit packaging look like?
It will arrive in plain white envelope with your typed name and address on it.
