What is the app?

This app was designed with ease of use in mind. When you need to get tested, the Better2Know Web App will streamline your booking process and help you book the test you need, right now.

Follow this link to access the app, which you can download to your mobile device. On your device, simply tap the icon to open it.

This is great for people new to Better2Know who need to book an STI test quickly.

The Better2Know Web App is currently only available to patients in the UK.

How does it work?

Opening the app on your device should use the default browser on your device (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc.) You’ll be brought to the main page:

Choose a test

The first step is to choose your test. If you know the test you’re looking for, you can search for it in the search bar. If you’re not sure which test you need, you can browse our tests and screens through three filters:

Test type: Clinic vs Home Test
Test category: Sexual Health vs Health and Wellness
Test group: Including General Health, Individual STI tests, Cancer Screening, and more

If you’re looking for a home test, you’ll be taken straight to the Secure Checkout.

Select a location

If you’d prefer a test at a clinic, you can search for a clinic that delivers the test you want. Search our established clinic locations or by city. Search for your nearest city, and you’ll be given a list of clinic locations near you.

Secure Checkout

Once you’ve selected the test and your preferred testing method, you’ll be directed to a secure checkout, where you’ll need to provide a few details, including:

Your preferred appointment date and time (if you’re booking a clinic test)
Your full address (if you’re ordering a home test)
Your full name, DOB, and gender
Your preferred contact method, including phone call or email

Submit your information to be taken to the final checkout, where you will need to provide your card details. Once your payment’s been processed and your appointment confirmed, you’ll receive an email with all your appointment information. If you’re ordering a home test, you’ll receive an email with your purchase receipt and details about when your test will arrive.
