World AIDS Day is on 1 December every year. See our blog last year for a look at the history of the Day. This year Better2Know will be supporting the Terrence Higgins Trust for every HIV test which is booked through us from 24 November to the 7 December. We will make a donation to the charity to help them to support people who are affected by HIV.
We have a wide range of options for having your HIV test with us. So there is no excuse to put it off!
At our clinics we have a choice of instant tests (available in many locations) where you get your results in 20 minutes while you wait. We also have our standard laboratory tests: the 28 days HIV 1/2 and p-24 antigen test (results are the same day your sample is received in our laboratory), and our Early Detection Screen – accurate results just ten days after any incident you are concerned about.
If you cannot come to our clinics, then with our Everywhere service – We Come2You. Wherever you are in the UK, we can send a nurse to your home, office, or hotel. Your nurse is in plain clothes so this is a discreet service! We will take your blood sample and send it to our laboratory for your HIV test. We will then call you with your results.
Finally, we also have our home sample collection service. You collect your own blood sample with the kit we send to you. We will send you an email when your results are available to view on line.
If you have any questions about HIV testing this World AIDS Day please call us on the number above and we would be happy to help you.
